Dhokra and Mosaic fusion

Mosaic designs are made by hand cut, coloured stained glass by the artist; it dates back to the Third Millennia BCE. The glass colours used, match the natural colours and dyes used by Tribals. The Bastar region of Chhattisgarh specializes in Dhokra art; it is one of the earliest known methods of metal casting. Dhokra art dates back to the times of Indus-Sarasvati civilization.
